Enough with all those pages that say "Under Construction", some need to be torn down.
The sins

Promoting too early.  (Boy have I been guilty of this crime)

Pages that list 12 different web rings that the person belongs to and nothing else

Most of the metallica fan tribute pages that use the same 5 images.

I should start with my self and tear down my own page

Pages set up by guys who are brilliant with linux that they have to show off their incredible apache server but forgot to say anything that the rest of the world cares about.

Guys who make inane lists of every file on their harddrive or every CD in their collection.

Tripod should be fined for making pages too easy ;)

A collection of links of pages that didn't even look interesting enough to read yourself (Oh boy have I been guilty of this one)

THE Cure
1. maybe you don't even need a web page.  Do research to find other pages on a pet subject and offer help with improving the best of them.
2. Volenteer for projrct gutenburg.  A great way
3. Ok I'm stumped on how to acctually remove or make changes  offending pages.  Censorship can be a sensitive issue.  I think a real embarrassing letter would be fun.
4. for those of who you who don't mind occasionally proofreeding a page of text, a great way to contribute to the internet is to help  project gutenberg where you can proofreed a single page of text at any time.
