I've been a bit of an evangelist for using a Text-to-Speech program to become more literate and get into better shape.

My nickname is a truncated form of Dostoyevsky, my favorite author.  I used to major in Literature.  I actually never took a single lit class because I was "pre reading", trying to make a good dent in the books I would be assigned first.  I realized I read slow and can endlessly revise writing assignments.  I decided it would be much quicker to major in Math.  Math is good for me because most problems have and end to them.

    I live in Bishop234 California.  Bishop is between the Sierra Nevada and White Mountains.  These ranges both have peaks over 14,000.  Bishop is about 4,000 in the middle.  I live in the high desert.
    I am well settled in Bishop since I work at two jobs that allow me to study, (I call my self a proffessional insomniac).  However, Bishop has no more than a 2 year community college. I looked into Distance Learning and found that the best way to get a B.S. in mathematics was through the Adult Degree Program from  Southwesten Adventist University.

I recently ran into a Peavey Bass with all the fretts filed off, (jaco pastorius style) for $125 I was forced to buy it.  I've always wanted to do it to my own bass but it thrashes the value so much.
